A Little Bit of Hawaii

Happy Monday everyone.  I promised to share a few pictures from my trip to Hawaii so here they are.  It was wonderful and relaxing and as always, too short.   I really wish I could spend at least a month in Hawaii every year but am lucky that I get my annual 10 days.  One good thing about getting older is that I will have more time to spend there!

This is one of many turtles that were hanging out on the beach in front of our hotel.  I guess they come up out of the water every day to lay in the sun and sleep.  I've never been this close to one of these guys and it was really cool!  I also saw one swimming in the water but didn't get a picture of it.

This was the beautiful view from our lanai.  I decided that these two palm trees were "mine" and took about a hundred photos of them!

This was an interesting tree on one of the golf courses we played.  I can't remember what kind of tree it is but I just love it.  Doesn't it look like it needs a haircut?

I finished my second book of the year this weekend.  I'll be writing about it in the next couple of days.  It's a book about the D.B Cooper case.  For those of you who like mysteries, this is a real life one that has never been solved!

  4. Ooh, I've never been to Hawaii. Generally, beach vacations do not interest me, but so many people seem to do so many active things in Hawaii and it looks gorgeous in your photos :-)
